Patrick Scott Patterson is so full of himself

Been a while since I reminded of this, though I really shouldn't have to.

Don't tag me in a post or photo unless I'm in it, please.

Too many are doing that "mass tagging so people will see it" thing again and frankly, it's the surest way to make sure I NEVER look at your stuff.

If you want me to see your pic or content... come show it to me. Don't tag me in it, hoping I'll clap my hands together, click my heels and stop what I'm doing to post it on my wall over my own stuff for free and on your schedule.

Thanks.

  • Desirai Labrada If this is a problem I think Facebook has a "tag approval" feature.... Though I guess having to approve and deny tags might be just as annoying.
  • Patrick Scott Patterson They can still tag me in it. It only means I have to approve it before it shows up on my wall. I get notified of all replies to the post, too, until I manually remove the tag.

  • Jeff Fincher I gotta throw out an apology for doing that recently. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to post that Bryan Singer Death Star pac man shirt on your wall. But I figured just once a Death Star Pac Man might be worth it.
  • Cat DeSpira I block people who routinely do that. Had a person who did that at least five times a day. He can't do that anymore.

  • Patrick Scott Patterson Jeff, that's different. Ya gotta like that, as I had to shut off my wall. I'm talking about those who tag 100 people in something.
  • Clay Hayes "Tag ur it!"
    "Tag!...ur unfriended"

  • Cat DeSpira That sounded harsh. What I meant was, it's no fun being tagged in things, like Casino Slot Parties, pics of restaurant orders, and businesses as well as conversations that don't concern me...like someone breaking up with GF or fighting with someone.
  • Cat DeSpira Or invites to aps, ads, etc.
  • Richard Carter what if we tag you in a photo we send to you as a fb msg?
  • Tom Spiese If I tag you in a pic, it's only because it is related to the gaming industry and I think you might find it amusing, or appropriate for your page.
  • Patrick Scott Patterson I think I need to clarify in this post. I'm not talking about being tagged in something that contains 1-3 people. Since I shut off my wall to public posts that's pretty much the only way TO stick something on my wall. I wish Facebook had other options for that, but so it is. I'm speaking of those posts that tag dozens... if not hundreds of people. Last night it was a podcast I don't believe I've ever heard of, heard from, talked to, been on or anything else... tagging pretty much anyone with a voice in gaming. Nope... I don't play that.
